Day 1: Kalahari Desert (km 301km)

Activities: After departure from Windhoek between 9 - 10am, we arrive at Kalahari Gondwana camping. Set up camp and explore the surrounding red dunes. Enjoy a sunset drive to witness the Kalahari's vibrant colors and potentially spot wildlife like oryx and springbok.

Day 2: Fish River Canyon (km 414)

Location: Fish River Canyon area

Accommodation: Lodging at Canyon Village

Activities: Drive south towards the Fish River Canyon. Check into your lodge and spend the afternoon exploring the canyon rim. Enjoy the breathtaking views and capture stunning photos. Consider a sunset hike along designated trails.

Day 3 & 4: Klein Aus Vista's Serenity (km 303)

Activities: Drive to Klein Aus Vista, known for its unique desert landscapes and the chance to spot the wild horses of the Namib. Set up camp and explore the area. Hike the trails, enjoy the views, and keep an eye out for the horses. On day 4, take a day trip to the ghost town of Kolmanskop near Lüderitz.

Day 5 & 6: Sossusvlei (km 346)

Location: Sesriem (near Sossusvlei)

Accommodation: Glamping at Namib desert camp

Activities: Drive to Sesriem. Check into your glamping site and prepare for early morning excursions. On day 6, wake up before dawn to enter Namib-Naukluft National Park and climb Dune 45 before Big daddy dunes. Explore Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and Sesriem Canyon. Consider a hot air balloon ride for an unforgettable experience.

Activities: Drive to the Brandberg Mountain area, home to ancient rock art. Set up camp. Take a guided hike to see the famous White Lady rock painting. The Brandberg offers stunning desert scenery or join game drives to see desert elephants.

Day 10: Palmwag (319)

Location: Palmwag Gondwana campsite

Activities: Drive to Palmwag, a vast wilderness area known for its desert-adapted wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, and giraffes. Set up camp and enjoy a game drive to spot the local wildlife and a visit to himba tribe village. The landscape here is rugged and beautiful.

Day 11 & 12: Etosha national park (414)

Accommodation Day 11: Camping (inside the park)

Accommodation Day 12: Lodging (inside near the park)

Activities: Spend two days exploring Etosha National Park, one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations. The game drives around the various waterholes for incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. Day 11, camping the park. On day 12, check into a nice lodge outside the park for a comfortable last night of our trip.
