Arrival in Windhoek
Arrive in Windhoek and transfer to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, explore some of the capital’s highlights before settling in for the evening.

DAY 2
Windhoek – Kalahari Desert (280km/±3 hrs drive)
Begin your journey with a scenic drive south into the Kalahari Desert. Settle into the charming Kalahari Anib Lodge, surrounded by rolling red dunes and endless skies. Enjoy a sundowner drive and your first taste of Namibia’s wilderness.

DAY 3
Kalahari – Klein Aus Vista (480 km/±5–6 hrs drive)
Travel west towards the arid beauty of the south. Arrive at Klein Aus Vista, your base for two nights. Settle in and enjoy the tranquillity of the desert landscape.

Day 4
Kolmanskop & Lüderitz Excursion
Full-day exploration of the hauntingly beautiful ghost town Kolmanskop, with its rooms filled with sand. Afterwards, visit the historic coastal town of Lüderitz for a taste of its German colonial architecture and rugged coastline.

Day 5
Klein-Aus-Vista – Namib Desert (236 km/±6 hrs drive)
Travel west into the heart of the Namib Desert. Arrive at Namib Desert Lodge, where desert views and a touch of comfort await. Relax at the pool or take in the surreal desert sunsets.

Day 6
Sossusvlei Excursion
Embark on a full-day adventure to explore the towering dunes of Sossusvlei and the hauntingly beautiful Dead Vlei. Capture breathtaking landscapes before returning to Namib Desert Lodge for a restful evening.

Day 7
Sossusvlei → Swakopmund (298km/±4–5 hrs drive)
Journey through dramatic landscapes via the Kuiseb Canyon and Gaub to the Atlantic coast and the lively town of Swakopmund. Stroll along and overnight in a Delight boutique hotel.

Day 8
Swakopmund & Walvis Bay
A morning excursion to Sandwich Harbour offers breathtaking views of towering dunes meeting the Atlantic Ocean, where you can spot wildlife and birdlife. Afterwards, experience optional activities such as sandboarding or quad biking on the towering dunes just outside Swakopmund. In the late afternoon, take a stroll through Swakopmund's German-colonial streets, browse the craft markets, and savour fresh seafood at a local restaurant.

Day 9
Swakopmund – Twyfelfontein (333km/± 4–5 hrs drive)
Travel north along the Skeleton Coast, visiting one of the shipwrecks. Continue inland to Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient rock engravings. Visit the Damaraland Living Museum. Arrive at Twyfelfontein Lodge and settle in amidst the rugged Damaraland scenery.

Activities: Visit the UNESCO World Heritage rock paintings (N$ 270pp guided)


Day 10
Twyfelfontein – Opuwo (345km/±6-7 hrs drive)
After breakfast, journey north into Kaokoland. The landscape shifts to remote mountains and open savannah as you approach Opuwo. Arrive at your lodge and enjoy an afternoon at leisure before you visit the Himba village the following day.

Day 11
Opuwo – Himba Village Visit – Etosha (440km/±6 hrs drive)
This morning, you visit a traditional Himba village for an authentic cultural experience. Meet the Himba people, learn about their customs, and gain insight into their semi-nomadic way of life. Afterwards, depart Opuwo and travel south to Etosha National Park. Arrive at Etosha Safari Lodge and settle in for a two-night stay.

Accommodation: Etosha Safari Lodge or Camp (Outside the park), or Okaukuejo NWR Resort (Inside the park)

Activities: Scenic drive, Himba Excursion (N$1 200pp guided)



Day 12
Etosha
Enjoy a full-day safari in Etosha National Park, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and more around the waterholes. After a picnic lunch, continue your game drive across the vast salt pan before returning to the lodge for a relaxing evening and sunset views.

Day 13
Etosha – Windhoek (415km/± 5 hrs drive)
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Etosha National Park. After breakfast, depart and drive back to Windhoek, enjoying the scenic Namibian landscapes along the way. Arrive in the city in the afternoon.

Departure from Windhoek
