TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1:
Windhoek → Etosha National Park 4-6 hours
Depart from Windhoek early in the morning and journey north through the scenic Namibian countryside to Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation at Gondwana safari camp and enjoy a sunset, prepare for a full day game drive the next day.

DAY 2:
Full Day Safari in Etosha
Spend a full day exploring the vast Etosha salt pans and the park’s diverse wildlife. Join a guided safari or self-drive adventure, visiting key waterholes to see lions, rhinos, elephants, and a variety of birds. Pause for a picnic lunch in the bush, and capture unforgettable wildlife photographs against the striking landscape of the park.

DAY 3:
Etosha → Okaokoland / Omarunga Falls Camp (4-5 hours)
After breakfast, drive to the remote Okaokoland region, arriving at Omarunga Falls Camp. Spend the afternoon exploring the camp’s natural surroundings, enjoying birdwatching, short hikes, and relaxation by the scenic falls. This region offers peaceful seclusion amidst Namibia’s rugged beauty.

DAY 4:
Himba Village Cultural Experience
Take a guided visit to a nearby Himba village, where you will interact with one of Namibia’s most iconic indigenous communities. Learn about their traditions, dress, rituals, and daily life, and gain insights into their rich cultural heritage. Optional activities include craft demonstrations, storytelling, and photography (with permission). In the afternoon, return to Omarunga Falls Camp for rest or light hikes.

DAY 5:
Okaokoland → Damaraland (5-6 hours)
Depart Omarunga Falls for Damaraland, covering approximately 300 km . En route, marvel at Namibia’s changing landscapes—from semi-arid plains to rugged mountains. Arrive at Twyfelfontein Luxury Camp and explore the area’s UNESCO-listed rock engravings, the Petrified Forest, and other geological wonders. Enjoy sunset views over the dramatic desert scenery.

DAY 6:
Damaraland → Spitzkoppe (3-4 hours)
After breakfast, drive to the iconic Spitzkoppe, known as the “Matterhorn of Namibia” for its striking granite peaks. Spend the day hiking, exploring natural arches, and discovering ancient rock paintings. This is a photographer’s paradise, especially at sunset, when the peaks glow in warm golden hues.

DAY 7:
Spitzkoppe → Windhoek (4-5 hours)
Conclude your journey with a drive back to Windhoek. You are expected to arrive in Windhoek in the afternoon. Reflect on a week filled with wildlife, culture, and the incredible landscapes of Namibia.
